About Us

Licorice Zine, established in 2022, is an independent publication, art archive and creative space for Boorloo (Perth) artists. Our goal with Licorice Zine is to create a vessel for Perth creatives to freely express themselves whether through art, writing, photography or music. We are an inclusive space for all artists regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.

Licorice Zine acknowledges the tradition custodian of the land upon we create and pays respect to elders past, present and future. Always was, always will be.

Like many gen Z's, internet culture and online communities have shaped who she is and prompted her to start Licorice Zine. In her own artwork, she is heavily inspired by her environment, gender, media and pop culture. If she's not busy, you can find her crocheting, playing bass or with her dog :)
